The Master's in the Teaching of Spanish as a Foreign Language (60 ECTS credits) and the Specialist Diploma in the Teaching of Spanish as a Foreign Language (30 ECTS credits) are internationally recognized URV-endorsed qualifications taught via the Moodle online course management system. They are intended for university graduates, especially in the Humanities fields, and for professionals who would like to acquire a more profound knowledge of methodology for teaching Spanish as a foreign language.
These qualifications present university graduates with the theoretical foundations and practical resources they need to organize their teaching of Spanish as a foreign language, and provide techniques and resources for optimizing the learning process. They also provide resources that will help them to reflect and channel their training towards professional practice in the teaching of Spanish as a foreign language.
Students who pass Module 1, Module 2, Module 3, and the Practicum are awarded the Specialist Diploma in the Teaching of Spanish as a Foreign Language (30 ECTS credits), which corresponds to the first year of the Master's. Those who also pass the four remaining modules (Module 4, Module 5, Module 6 and the Dissertation) are awarded the Master's in the Teaching of Spanish as a Foreign Language (60 ECTS credits).
The modules can also be taken as independent courses. Check on the Master's website which modules are open for registration right now.
